Compiling Your Map The easiest way to compile your map is to use a front end utility called Q3Build. It will build the level, add bot support, and allow you to launch your maps at will. If you don't allready have the file then download it from the files section here. Once you've installed the program go ahead and launch from the shortcut on your desktop. The first thing that you'll have to do is set up the file paths to your maps, the bspc tool, and the Quake 3 game folder. Simply use the settings pictured in the shot below. Once the file pathways are set then the world is your oyster. When you actually finish with a map or you've added a new section to a work in progress. Save the map under a new name or under an existing name and launch Q3Build. It should automatically display the current maps that you have in your maps folder. You can also use the refresh button to update any new maps that might be in your folder. Now let's take a look a the utility it'self.
