I'm currently  using  two  primary  machines now for  the  mapping thing.
One  I call  the  "MoFo'" and   the  other  is  the  "lil'  Fo".  The MoFo is the big
daddy   on  rendering  and  compiling  due  to  it's speed.  The lil' Fo I use
to  do  basic  graphics   editing  and   web   design   allthough   it's  still  a
good  gaming  machine.  Both  are  networked together for file sharing via
a LAN using a basic Netgear switch and cat5 cable.  It's nice for testing.
