Title: IE7 Support Ended
Post by: Tesla[1up] on August 19, 2011, 04:32:05 PM

I just want to make it known to the 1.7% of our visitors that still use Internet Explorer 7, we will no longer be supporting this browser from this moment forward. There will be no farewell parties, no long goodbyes, you will not be missed, and I for one, will be glad to see you go.

That is all !!!

This just brought a smile to my face! Good bye IE7! Much like your older brother IE6, you too were a pain in the ass! Don't let the door hit you on the way out.  8)

Tesla, I don't mean to be rude but you appear to have accidentally put a "7" after "Internet Explorer".

That wasn't a typo KD. I have been supporting this browser for along time now. Hell, until last year I was still supporting IE6 and users who had JavaScript disabled. No more of that tho, if you insist on using an ancient browser and choose to disable JavaScript then I will not be held responsible for what the site does to you.

How come you are the only people who understand me?
How come I like to be here a lot, even though the front page gets updated every december?

Because like me, you hate IE, and I believe Free Software is a good way to go.
Free as free speech, here at Colombia it is called "Software libre" and it makes perfect sense, cause "Libre" means "free", like freedom, and freedom here means "Libertad".  I'm still confused about how to use the other word than means "Libertad" for us, like in Statue of Liberty  (Estatua de la Libertad).  I should read about it, cause for spanish speakers Freedom and Liberty just means the same, but It may refer to differents contexts

Ok, now, related to IE issues, I really like that you are not going to support that lousy browser any longer, cause right now, I have been programming Javascript and doing basic CSS design for five months so far, and when it comes to IE, just, Puaj.

Something about liberty vs freedom

Reading this, makes me wonder:
Why is it (or she) called statue of Liberty?
What do you believe if someone would like to change the name?
and what would happen if it may get called "Statue of freedom"?

P.D: Do you understand what I'm talking about?
It's the first time I get to talk about something like this!

any backfeed?
