There are now 2 back staircases to the room overlooking the prisonhall

Ill post pics of the progress as I go. These changes were made within the first week of releasing b3_4.
I found a little time today while my son was sleeping to work on the map. But the changes are not pretty enough to screenshot yet. Ill keep this page updated.. For fun.
The west end of the map has been crunched further without affecting gameplay. This room is slightly shorter now.. and I changed up the old staircase. I think it feels better. Now the hall at lower left of picture takes a few turns and goes into the turning staircase you see in picture 47 "The unlit area to the right of office on picture 47 : )
On pic 47 notice the large upper window.. Thats the office overlooking the prison cells. I tore apart that area of the map.. no more little court yard. oh and don't notice the bad lighting. :)
I would like to say good job dude :D been a pleasure seeing this map go through its many wonderful changes, one worry/quarm i will have is that if i go overly fast over the banister of them stairs can you reassure me that i wont break my legs?
if the answer = no
then could you possible cushion that part of the floor <3

I know what you mean, I will try to solve my cushion issue before the next release. Im using Tanks mapping suite and he for whatever reason modified the cushion to also be slick.. and im a mapping noob.
I was a 99.9% noob when i started this map. Its pretty much been my training ground. Id say im only 80% noob now. If I'm worthy to gauge myself.

Quakes cushion, Cushion texture plus shader and instructions lol.

how many do you have on your map (roughly) because some places i hit F% which is i need a medic @$location and sometimes the location dont show up :'(

Several per area. I noticed that too though, some areas just don't work. It might have to do with the vis process and area portals. I might add a few more next release

Looking good, but with the old version, did the attached picture ever get fixed?

I will make sure it got fixed. My doors are still sub-par I noticed that with rotating doors I can add custom sounds for the swing and when the door stops but sliding doors don't at the least document that option. I hate the default sliding door sound but I can live with it if I must.
I also did not show the sliding doors up close as the glass in them is not always rendering correctly. If I compile without lighting all the glass in the map is perfect. If I compile with lighting. It goes random, Some is see through from only one direction. I'm not sure if getting it all packed away in a pk3 and into my real urban terror will solve my issue or not. Bleh

For sliding doors:
pos1
pos2
noise
For start, end, looping.
So
pos1--sound/map/door_start
pos2--sound/map/door_stop
noise--sound/map/door_loop
Noise is just looped while it's opening.
