I think I did a good job of replicating the banner.  I think mine looks a bit cleaner though.

Quake Live (http://www.quakelive.com) runs on a modified version of the id Tech 3 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Id_Tech_3) engine.

Xonotic (http://www.xonotic.org/) is based off the Darkplaces (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DarkPlaces_engine) game engine, and is a direct successor of the Nexuiz (http://www.alientrap.org/games/nexuiz) project with years of development between them.

Red Eclipse (http://redeclipse.net/) is a fun-filled new take on the casual first person arena shooter, built as a total conversion of Cube Engine 2 (https://duckduckgo.com/l/?kh=-1&uddg=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FCube_2_engine) using SDL and OpenGL which allows it to be ported to many platforms; like Windows, GNU/Linux, BSD, and OS X.

Urban Terror (http://www.urbanterror.info) is a free standalone game that is utilizing ioquake3 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Id_Tech_3#ioquake3) as an engine.  So, Urban Terror is more like Quake live than these other games mentioned.
These games are first person shooters, and apples, oranges and pears are fruit, but they are different, just like these games.

Valkiry, first person shooters are all the same... not.

This is an impromptu training video for folks new to Xonotic. It briefly touches upon initial setup, movement, and most of the core weaponry.
