I prefer LoL because I think it's a bit simpler in my opinion. I might give Dota 2 another try but I doubt it. It was too flashy and complicated for my brain xd.
I have 4 extra copies if anyone wants one.
Add me on steam -> lolzofking

I also like LoL better. i feel like with less bells and whistles you can concentrate more on skill and less on all other stuff u have to do.

Dota2 is for those who want a harder and more complex game, lol is for those who want a simpler game that's easy to learn.

Dota2 is closest to the original Warcraft mod which had a steep learning curve and stays closer to the feel of the original heros. Lol just too the same concept of heros mixed with tower defense and made it look all fancy with highly stylized heros and big breasted women, while simpilizing the gameplay enough, and improving on separating skill levels and made it more open for casual players and elite players to both play, and not ruin each others games

Personally I like both to make it clear....just in different ways

When it hits Linux ill play : ) I used to play from windows. It's definitely a tougher learning curve than LoL and I came from DOTA.

It's not in my library yet.. Well not my Linux Library anyway, I share the library w/a windows version of steam that runs under wine. It plays but its not optimized at all so to me its unplayable, Though im sure some would consider it playable. :P

wine is buggy and laggy.  use bootcamp with windows if you have it (is bootcamp legal?)

Since I've ran the topic way off course I'll close with this.

I have 7 Dota2 keys if anyone would like one as well, Add me on Steam. Account name Quakeitup

I'm suprised.  Hopefully it'll be like that with dota 2, although the graphics in dota 2 are like lol on steroids.  Set everything to off/low and render quality down (possibly to 0).

I'm suprised too, Last time I tried LoL though, I was running a slightly older ATI HD 5700  and ATI drivers on Linux are crappy anyway (Getting better attempting to keep up with Nvidia)

But LoL said "Hell No" Every step of the way.

This time, I installed, Updated, And went into a game (Created w/Bots) Sos as to not crash on a real game and get leaver status.

And did not have a single problem. (YET)

I should mention I only played 15 minutes, Bought items at the shop, Blew up a tower etc, No graphical Glitches, Silk smooth glossy constant 60FPS (Capped @ 60)  just beautiful. We will see what happens with extended play and vs humans.

nope. when you care about very little about much anymore, being wrong hardly tends to be one of them.
