:( ly the time has come to ask all the other 1uppers if it is time to start playing other games for clan practice like nmrih ,csgo killingfloor COD or any other games that we all or some of us might have I am not much for the zombie games but for the clan I would try to be there for you guys we all need to think about kicking this clan back to life :P and have a night we can all get together and enjoy the games that we all love to play so please let me hear back from all you 1 uppers about this :-[

I think this is a cool idea. I was also thinking it would be hilarious if we had a drinking night where you take a shot every time you die and we play games all night. Would be awesome in my opinion but only because i have done stuff like that before lol.

I like the idea, as well. I try to participate in as much as possible in this clan. Whenever I have to work, obviously, I go to work.

Having a 1up Spleef or Minecraft TS setup would be totally freaking awesome.

I think this is a cool idea. I was also thinking it would be hilarious if we had a "drinking night" where you take a shot every time you die and we play games all night. Would be awesome in my opinion but only because i have done stuff like that before lol.

CSGO, Titanfall, COD or Urt I'm up for thoae. 23 years sober the drinking thing could be a problem. I've probably been sober longer than most of you are old, Except Ratt, Ron, Cope.

I don't have any windows computers in my house, so if you switch games completely ... well I won't leave 1up, but I won't be at practice either. UrT is free, and cross-platform, and is also old so it doesn't require modern hardware either. If you know of another game that has those qualities I don't mind switching, but I don't think the problem is the game. There really are too many damn stale 1up members too, and lack of participation by 1up admins/refs etc.

I know I have not been playing any games lately, but I will still post from time to time when I can.
My laptop does not have the power to play most first person shooters, and it will be about ten more months before I will be back on my desktop.

I own a ton of games. I have both COD Black Ops (1&2), MW3, COD Ghosts, Killing Floor, Tactical Insurgency, Blacklight Retribution, Blockland, CS:GO, and a long list.
If we can get together to play maybe some COD Black Ops, KF, BLR, and CS:GO, then we can add time. I also was lucky enough to get DayZ recently and I think we can have a server with a large number of people on it.
Something that has bothered me for a bit here now is that we have a lot of members who don't represent the clan any longer. They don't wear the tag, they play on other servers instead of our servers, they just don't really do anything for the clan but sit on a roster. Urban Terror is dead to me but I still go to as many practices as possible. If we can't start playing games together, then I might as well throw about 70% of the people out and start over with new people who will actually represent the clan.
I have a vacation coming up in June. After I return I will trim the dead weight, no matter how much there is to trim. In the meantime, I hope that Ratt2[1up] can help us to start up some practices with other games.

I have blacklight as well as dayz and killing floor so i would be able to play those. As far as representing i just use my steam name which has 1up in it by default lol.

Also war thunder is another free to play game thats pretty fun if you like air combat.

No, I haven't been representing 1up very well, but I also think it's unreasonable for you to ask me to represent a clan that I hardly interact with, despite my membership. Although, I am glad that people are taking the initiative to move to newer games, and having a 1up DayZ Server hosted sounds like an awesome idea!
BTW, I recommend DayZ to all of you, it's a beautiful game ;)

I hope you realize that is a whole bunch of dead weight. A lot of them have just disappeared except for the select like 15/20 of us.

I don't think anyone said anything about dropping UrT completely, but you gotta admit, it doesn't make much sense to hold a practice three times a week for a game that we don't even compete in. Warface Wednesdays is working out pretty well and if we want fresh members we should reach to fresh places. I see Chloe and the Pie People on routinely and they only joined because of Warface, which has nothing but terrible reviews on Steam. If we want to continue to grow, maybe we should include another expanding game. (cough NMRIH cough cough) Problem is, I only get 7 evenings each week, and I have other things that I need to do. Perhaps we can take one of the UrT practices and make it a play session for some other game. Since most people that play UrT seem to hate 4.2 anyways, I don't see why this should be a problem.
TL;DR- I'm proposing that we turn one of the Urban Terror practices into a NMRIH practice. We can call it the Monday from Hell night or something.

As long as it has a native Linux version, and preferably 0 cost, I am down for whatever game and ok with swapping out one of the UrT practices for it. Also, this was an old dead thread that was resurrected. NMRIH qualifies, at least in the short term until HD is released onto us.

NMRiH has an 8 player max out. The three servers we run are usually full in the evening. That is one of the more popular free zombie games out there. I have put a lot into making perks for the servers. Our NMRiH stuff is quite custom but uses Sourcemod so players are not waiting to dl very much (almost all server-side).
Blacklight: Retribution is a great game and we could have a private room on it for our clan, so is AVA and Soldier Front --good shooters.

I still prefer UrT to Warface; the lack of grinding makes it easier for me to keep up with everyone else.

The way I see it is if we get enough people playing Warface we can have our own room going and have a lot of fun that way. It really is a blast having a larger 1up group playing together with just us on there.
