Title: The Weekly Modelling Competition-#1
Post by: Flame[1up] on July 18, 2011, 09:24:13 AM
(http://www.firemaps.net16.net/Images/ModelersLogo.gif)

Well, I had an idea after looking at the "variety of Model Files the 2nd" topic,

that idea was to have a weekly modelling competition, It will help produce new Modelers, Give More Experience to Modelers, and create a little bit of fun.

Now here is our weekly Schedule
**Public is defined as anyone who is NOT Competing**
**The is Based Off of Standard Forum Time which is the EST Timezone**
1st(Monday)-Public Votes by Voting on the Above Poll, the Theme for the Modelers to Model
2nd-6th(Tue-Sat)-Modelers Create their Model and produce a screenshot as a reply onto the thread of that week
7th day(Sunday)-Public Votes(by replying to thread) on who's model they like the best.
End of 7th day(Start of the 1st day for next week)-Votes are tallied, person with the most votes win.

-Rules For Modelers:
All Models Must be Custom Made
All Textures(if used) must be custom.

So Go Ahead, and choose us a theme Public :D
*PM me or reply to this thread any ideas that you think should go on next weeks poll*

Might as well also put a poly count for smooth models, like the umbrella.

Sorry....but, no  :P

Anyways, The Vote Ends in about 15 hours and no-one (not even me -.-) can view results till its done hence no-one knows what to model yet.

Yes this is a knife not a sword, i typed into google: model a knife

and i got this:

then i roughly did what i thought was correct and adapted it...

Ok, since I wont be able to get on in 5 hours I am gonna do this now.

The Public shall vote via replying to this thread on who modeled the best knife.

The voting starts at July 25, 2011, 10:00:49 AM CST(11:00:49 EST)

If any Competitor posts with a vote, it doesnt count
Also any vote before the voting starts or after the 1 day period will not count.
