A brief tutorial on making a custom skybox for urban terror using terragen classic.
Follow this tutorial and you will be able to make realistic skyboxes in no time!

Be sure to read the EDITS for important information regarding front and back image naming

Good call dougy! I want people to know that my methods do work, so here is the sky I made in that tutorial.

letme know if you have any problems getting it to work, and remember, add the mysky entry to the shaderlist.txt!

Did you happen to use Jing to make those videos, or some other program (Camtasia, etc)?

No, that is not necessary. Shaderlist.txt is just used by GTK Radiant to find where the shaders are, so it can draw a white box around them and use them in the compile process.

Yes I used Camtasia. Thanks to lurker for recommending it, and btjunkie.com for there wonderful selection of software  >:D

I recommend Jing too, it's Free. Camtasia costs about $300, but is also more feature-full. Jing has a cool one button click to record and upload to their server and copies the URL to your clipboard feature I like.

what mistake did u make when you could tell where the edges were? I wanna avoid doing that haha

I was thinking about the skybox from the inside, which would go from clockwise 0=right, 90= back, 180 =left 270=front
However, skyboxes are thought of from the outside but rendered from the inside which switches the front and back around.

Run-on sentences oh no!
