Title: Games
Post by: [GM] Legion on September 25, 2013, 09:11:59 AM
We need a new game. Something fairly simple thats multiplayer, and perhaps co-op even. It would be good to play a multiplayer game with some people and just play. A couple of us had started to play BL2, but i am guessing that fell apart. Anyone know of any good co-op multiplayer games? does not HAVE to be a free game.

Games i have that would fit...

Payday2
Torchlight2

and thats all i can think of for right now.

Ive got Torchlight 2 but it'snot the kind of game that can keep my attention. Ive been playing Skyrim today and usually play CSGO. Oh well I'm sure we'll work something out.

All you need to pay for with DayZ is the original game. There's no monthly sub fee.

wait... where do you see a $15/month fee on dayz?  all you have to do is buy arma II/operation arrowhead and download the mod for free..

the controls in dayz though are so odd....not intuitive at all....and just,......bumbly... i dunno.... i just love how they have an MG (M249) which is a belt fed machine gun with a normally open bolt.....and made it into a semi-auto AR thats belt fed with great accuracy....besides the fact it is literally impossible.... but its awesome that i was able to be sniped by it from a decent range, while i was on toip of a building, prone....

i ended up dying..but not before i killed the same guy twice (that killed you and red).. He came back for me after i killed him the first time.. but he brought his friend (that sniped you) to finish me off. I've played this game a long time ago but i have to agree its more fun when you play with other people you know.

yeh, thats what makes the game. though i wish they did it under the HL2 engine or something. they could have made such a better game. with controls that were not so funky

we could play crossfire (fps game) but I would REALLY recommend spiral knights, dungeon crawling mmorpg, (even though I'm not playing currrently) it's co op very friendly community + there are guild halls. basically every clan has a big hall where they put cool stuff.

I did post ten topics regarding other games we could play, but apparently the interest was not there for any of them except to be ridiculed.  So, I deleted those topics, and will await others opinions of games that ALL can play.

There's one game every fan of the zombie survival franchise has to play: 7 Days to Die
