Always wanted to add a little pre-game splatter to your maps but couldn't afford a camera to take pictures of your RL kills? Have your own vicious pics of slaughter but have not the means to code such complicated scripts?

-Installation- To view the bsp, simply place in your q3ut4 folder. To use In your map, extract the pk3 to your q3ut4 folder.

Haha awesome :) I know this is a total noob question, but how do I apply them to surfaces? I've tried doing this with different textures, and utterly failed. Plus, google never leads to good tutorials :p

open up the pk3 and extract the contents to your q3ut4 folder. Open up the newly extracted map file "blood_decals" you will see that the blood decals are all made up of square patch meshes. I made 4 different sizes and set them all to different micro heights using the grid .25 or .125. This prevents them from flickering if 2 overlap.
you literally place this just 1 unit above the floor so as to appear on the floor.

Okay, I downloaded it a while back, but there's a major problem.
You shoot it, and move slightly to the side, then you can see that there are 2 bullet marks,
the blood, and the brush it is on.

I did a quick serach and destroy/find and replace, and added a line to every
shader,

         surfaceparm nomarks

I've attached my version of the .shader file. Feel free to use it.
