Urban Terror 4.1.1 Update Is Out

Basically it looks like all of the revamped maps and new player skins, but it says it might break server compatibility. So, should 1up bother with this update, or wait until 4.2 hits? What do you think?

I say no do not do it. I have heard basically nothing but bad from other people so far and maybe a good fix in a map here and there. FTW staff has not decided whether they want it to be a necesity to have it on the comp server. I doubt that they make us change the servers for this season as it was only announced 4 days ago. It may not count for much but my recommendation is leave our servers the way they are for now.

1 new funstuff /funred ram
couple map fixes and people that don't have the updated pk3 can still play on the server..

its just an updated .pk3:

zpak001_assets.pk3
One goes in servers q3ut4 and the other one goes in the players q3ut4.
and the original zpak_assets doesn't get removed.

1up has updated the following servers with the recently released 4.1.1 Urban Terror zpak00_1:

1up Jump Server                   
1up Icy Jumps Server
1up Christmas TDM Server

Is 4.1.1 required on clientside to play on the servers?

No, the 4.1.1 update is not required to play on any 1up public server.[1]

To sum it up:

1) If you have Urban Terror 4.1 and you connect to a 1up server you will be able to play the game as always.
2) If you have the Urban Terror 4.1.1 update you will still see the 4.1 content in all 1up servers with the exception of the Christmas and two jump servers.

1.	The 4.1.1 update was pulled off all public servers with the exception of the Christmas and two jump servers. The update creates server/client mismatches when certain maps are played.
