i came up with my name cuz my name is austin and mania was just cool and 3 was because 1 and 2 were taken lol

Well, you see :P Me and my brother weren't very creative...we had simple names, but one day my brother changed his name to the well known...Hazmat/USR. I thought...hmm cool, how can I relate to that?

And after those first few minutes I changed to Biohazard :)

Haha, I had no idea Hazmat was your brother, Bio...


As for mine, I was about 10. We had just gotten home internet, and I was a major patriot. I named myself 'Ocanada' on a forum website for kids, but after that I decided that I needed something a little more awesome looking, so I chose 'powermadman' on a different site. Accidentally I left the 'n' out, so I scrapped that account and made 'powermad'. Then, I tried to make a RuneScape account, and when Powermad didn't work, I decided to use the name suggestion with the fewest numbers.

PowerMad9 has been my name ever since.

One day my boss who is always semi-yelling, said "Coffee clean blah blah blah..." the only problem is my name is Cory. Which I guess sounds close to Coffee. Coffee Cory Coffee Cory. Then, beecause I haven't ever really settled on a screen name for video games because none had seemed cool enough, SnKTank said that if he came up with a name that'd I'd have to use it. So he told me my new name would be CoffeeBlacks, because of my boss calling me Coffee. I go by just Coffee informally like a first name, but my full name is CoffeeBlacks.

Stole it from some guy I played with a year ago, lol. But his was fire panda so I changed mine to air panda and now I settle for panda.

Contrary to popular belief(Yay for big words! :D), my name was not originally symbalized by Michael Jackson's song(It is now though, so feel free to sing all you want. Disclaimer: Not responsible for people laughing at suckish singing) My name was actually from a story I wrote. It was an adventure/horror story, in which the main characters where torchured and picked off by the Thriller. Than I realized, I basicly retold Michael's song's story, in about 70x more detail.  :-X. I didn't start using Thriller in my games intill I tryed to catch my first hacker actually, in Urban Terror. More specificly, the 1up Christmas server. I had always played as TheIronSword. That was my trademark, and still is in most games. But, back to the story, I left the game so I could come back, so I wouldn't seem so suspisios with the, "BenTheKiller joined the spectators". I opened it up and thought, "Hm. What could I make my name that wouldn't bring a lot of attention at first glance?" I thought for about 20 seconds than realized the Notepad program open on my computer. BAM. The name stuck. From that first time I joined with Thriller, it has stuck with me through the ages, and to this day stands as my gaming name. So just remember. I'm not a song. I'm... a Thriller.    *thinks* Wow. That's enough typing for a whole new story! Hope this was informative!

it was basically to piss off the Paladins so I named myself "lvl4bearcat" then I dropped the lvl4 and just went as bearcat =P

Well my name started on runescape (sadly), i used to play every day couple of years back and i only go on like once a month if that. Well one time i asked my friend for his acc, and he said i could go on it so i did. After a couple of days he wanted it back so i changed the password and sold or dropped all his stuff. The accounts name was rondonboy so ive been using it ever since that, thats where i got my name from :)

Its from the show star trek obviously, but the reason I choose it and stuck with it is because many years ago a game came out called star trek elite force. A very fun game which also uses the q3 engine, anyways I used a few different names then joined a clan called {MAC} Fleet and Picard became my username of choice and I just stuck with it ever since, I have used Picard since 2001.

If you don't like the above explanation then I will use this one as an alternative, its because I am secretly french.

This is how i got 3k_dot:

I was thinking of a name for a game i used to play... but at the same time i was eating a candy called "DOTS" so then i added my favorite number "3" and well i just combined those and i came up with 3k_dot :D

...and i just got the name PeZ from the old fashion "pez candy dispensers"
