Hey everyone I just wanted to give you all a quick update on where we are at with regards to the site. As some of you may have noticed we now have images in the clan roster area on the front page (thanks to Zhalix) and if you click on any of those images it will take you to the forum profile for that particular member so you can find out more about them.
Also worth noting is that we are close to completing both the server & stats pages so you will be able to view live information about the server(s) and view detailed statistics about each and every game you play and find out where you rank on each server.
As for the downloads area, I would like to hear some suggestions as to what you would like to see there because as of now the only thing I can think to put there are the maps file and I would really like to have more there then just that so suggestions are welcome.
Anyway thats about it for now I just wanted to let you all know that things are being worked on and soon you will have an even better website to enjoy :)
Finally, here is a random image from the algiers map, it has noting to do with the updates I just wanted to spice up the front page with an pic of something and this is the first thing I found lol.

I have a question for you tesla.
How are you doing the forum posts on the front page? Because it looks like you just copy pasted in source but I don't think you did because of the comment counter.

I didn't copy n paste I used Servier Side Includes and modified the fourms php files to create a custom output based upon the information I wanted to collect ... ez stuff really :)

So you're saying that the home page calls on the forum thread and it tells the home page the text and who wrote it and how many comments?

Almost, the front page calls a php script that has a custom ssi_includes function within it which in turn searches the fourms to find the category >> thread >> thread_id ...etc. Once this is completed the fourm outputs the resulting dataset to the front page. I then used css to stylize the output to whatever I want.
