SPAS reload bind?

Hello -

I'm looking for a SPAS quick reload bind, one that fires, reloads for just the right time, switches to another weapon and back to SPAS to save time. Anyone got one of these? Can't find one on Google.

Okay, I'm a big script kiddie, but putting it in one bind? Stupid.
No dynamics, so you get stuck moving one way, or whatnot. No control.

This is what I found to work:

set spas_reload "weapprev; wait 3; weapnext; ut_echo ^1SPAS ^2is ready to fire; set spas vstr spas_fire"
set spas "vstr spas_fire"
bind x "vstr spas"

What this does is:
Press one: Shoot, reload
Press two: Cycle back/forth

So you press once, wait for counter to go up, and press again.
If you die, and have only pressed it once, it'll keep that state. Be sure the text comes up saying the spas is ready to fire.
If you have 2 shots, normal fire, then use bind.

Hmm, that didn't work. I have a 1 shot spas on zombie TS. Here's what it does. (I replaced X with G for my bind)

I bring up SPAS with a previous bind on my N key. I press G to fire, wait for the ready to fire message. I see it and press G again. It reloads like I'm holding down my reload key and not letting up. This happens on all of my guns, regardless of if I've pressed G on that gun..

Is there a way I can get the echo to show up sooner ? it's a little late..

yea if you put it in your urt>q3ut4 folder, itll be there everytime

copy your autoexe.cfg file and paste it then rename it. Put your binds inside and when you're in game you can just do a command for example if you renamed the file into autospas.cfg you can type it in the console as /exec autospas
or maybe this explanation fails 'cause i'm not half of a geek as ruusan.
