Hi!!

I´ve got a problem: well,Idk if the lagging on the servers (two last times I ve played there was a lot of laggin in fun, and today at superts too) has something to do with no hearing NOTHING AT ALL, so I´ve been playing without hearing the enemy,or the shots or anything...has it something to do with the lagging issue?

I checked my set up, and sound was ok.

From 3 days ago, to get into the forum I have trouble too...

I write the correct password, but a message tells me "an error has ocurred, try again in 2 seconds" and I try and I try...and same message keeps coming as I try to log.

the only way I ve been able to log into the forum has been changing the password, (2 times)

And the last question (I hope not to look stupid...) does have  ts3 connection trouble sometimes? I cannot get into
ts3 "server no found, error"

There are different game types within urban terror.

Team survival (ts):  You want to kill the other team, no one respawns.  Winning team gets a point for having the last man standing.

Free For All (ffa): Indiscriminate killing, you respawn after death, you want to be the first person to get 30 kills or have the most when the time runs out.

Capture the flag(ctf):  team game where you want to steal the enemies flag and bring it back to your flag to get a point.  Killing the enemy helps in this process as there is a delay on the respawn time.

Bomb: Red team are terrorist blue team are counter terrorists.  One player on the red team gets a bomb and must plant the bomb at one of two bomb sites.  If that player dies, the red team can see the bomb on there mini map as red and an extra circle.  After the bomb is planted it will explode, giving a point to the red team.  The blue team wants to protect the bomb sites and/or defuse the bomb once it has been planted.

Total Death Match (tdm):  Similar to free for all, but now you want to kill as many members of the opposite team as possible.  Each time you kill someone it gives your team a point, each time you die it gives the other team a point.  You respawn.

The zombie modes are basically customized weapons (and health awards/degeneration) that makes one team play as a zombie (can take a lot of bullets without dying but only has a knife to kill the enemy), and one team as the humans (regular urban terror).  Both teams have infinite stamina in these game types.  Right now 1up has a zombie ts and a zombie bomb, which is similar to regular ts and bomb game except one team are zombies.

Uhh Turban, I'm pretty sure "TDM" stands for "Team Death Match?" Hmmm???

is there a way to get rid of my stats cause i dont want people to see my stats on my brothers cpu and say he sucks them pwn them and then get called a hacker, but on my cpu my stats are really good and i dont really care so pls help me thx.

So brothers stats are bad but he plays well, your stats are really good.... are you playing on the same name?  On the same computer?

Turban i think he meant dif computers and two dif players, his brother sux @ UrT but he is good, but the prob being they share the same IP on networked comps, so if someone watches his brothers style under his brothers IP, then notices 'all of a sudden' game play increased 7-fold but under a dif alias 'but under same IP' instant 'hax accusations' fly and both of them get banned [potentially]

Hi!! Several weeks ago I found a page where all the players nicks, number of kills and number of death were exposed.(of each player) + their favorite guns and etc....

The % ratio of skills improvement was in the same page too.

I´ve been looking for it, and I do not find it...

I would like to see if I m inlcuded....

Are you talking about the stats page? If so, go to the home page and at the top under the 1up banner, youll see a button called stats. Thats where all the stats are located for each server.

Hi  I have demos of myself playing w other players, (2 or 3 that I like to keep) I want to learn how to convert a demo or a few in video form so I can have them saved in my youtube private channel.

If you cannot help me,do you know of some specialized web page where I can find tutorials that can help me?

Taking Video is very easy with urban terror.  Once you have recorder your demos (f12) start playback and open the console (~ button) and type in /video.  This will record everything on screen (including huds) during the demo in an avi format.  The video will be saved in UrbanTerror\q3ut4\videos\.  To end a recording open up the console and type /stop video. 

Note when you are recording video your playback will be jittery, don't worry this wont affect the final video file.

If you aren't planning on editing the video with speed effects you should consider the using the following settings for optimal video.  In you q3config.cfg (open with a text editor), find the following values and replace them with this:

seta cl_aviFrameRate "30" // media's general playback is between 24 and 30 frames per second with 30 being the norm
seta cl_aviMotionJpeg "1" //This makes your video a series of jpeg images, and has less artifacts than urt trying to use the mpegcodec.
seta r_customheight "1080"
seta r_customwidth "1920"//This will give you the 1080p

Note when urt, people generally lower the quality of the textures to increase in performance.  If I was saving a nice copy of my videos I would up the quality before running the demo and turning it into a video.
