In 2009 1up was fortunate enough to be the very first clan to have the "save", "load", and "goto" features for jump servers.
The idea behind these features was that an experienced jumper could help a new jumper who was stuck at a certain spot in the map, and then when finished rendering assistance the experienced jumper could return to his or her jump location.
During the development of these features we spent quite a bit of time running jump trains, much like you will see in the video below.

1up Jump Server has many features built in to assist users. In 2010 the "save" feature was extended so that users could exercise the option to leave the server and upon return would have their last location on any map remembered. That information is stored in a database that resides on the server. We empty that database about one time per month, so the extended "save" feature is meant to extend for roughly 30 days at a time.

In 2012, Resort and Gautch created the 1up Jump Server promotional video.
You can connect to the Jump Server by pulling your console down in-game and typing: "/connect jump.1upclan.info"

I started playing Urban Terror in early 2008, and I got my first Urt server shortly thereafter. Prior to Urt I played Q3A for several years.
Once I got my Urt server running I started working on bot changes and such. It has been a pretty difficult road because the game code is not particularly friendly towards any major change.

In the video below you can see that I made some corrections to the .aas files used in Elgin, Tunis and Oildepot.

Most of the standard bot errors logged have been fixed or ignored by the server binary. This video shows the standard bots, mixed with some of our own. Although I could continue to develop bots for this game, since the game code is closed source it would be too much of an effort as far as 4.1 goes. There are still some things that could be done. And I am looking forward to 4.2 and what I might accomplish there.
