I took a bunch of pictures for textures. Some are kind of blurry, should I send them in anyway? I am no photographer but I got almost 80 pictures in total. Should I crop them or just submit them as is? Do I have to up load them one at a time?  Can't I just load them into one big tarball or something?

The pics should be of equal size, like 512 x 512 as an example. Each one is uploaded by itself, one by one.

Now if only we could figure out how to legally get a "bloodstained wall" texture...jk

This might be possible if someone lives near a slaughter house, and if said establishment wouldn't mind you going in and taking some pictures of the walls after say a pig is slaughtered. I hear pig's blood is pretty darn similar to human blood.

uh oh, I heard TGA's are not acceptable. This will make alpha-channeled shaders impossible. Anyone know of a solution?

I realize this is more than a year later, but look up www.cgtextures.com

They have almost everything you could ever want and you can use them royalty free. the only catch is that they limit you to 15mb a day unless you pay them. but you can easily get a good 20-30 textures a day
