The size is fine, I could resize if i wanted, In fact i already converted it to Jpeg and applied some compression to get it around 50K

Again the font is a little hard to read, You could ask Tank, How he made his appear clearer on the side of Mt. Jew machine, I have not updated the screenshot yet but he sent me a clearer to read version. :)


Im just glad to have some content to get in the map, I think they look good.

Ah. I put a glow or whatever to make it more readable. I was trying to stick this in a dark corner. Do you want me to make it an outer glow? I'm /very/ tempted to make a [.dfe].

Im pretty sure this won't be a final release, (duh)

But there is an unlimited amount of things that could be improved, and im unsure when to draw the line and finish this Rev up. :P

I don't think that image would have looked very good as a wall, But as a "Painting" its Nice. :P Ill remove it if you want me to

You could drop some ammo around in the map, or map a medic area or reloading area.

Maybe an armory room where you go to change weapons.
Maybe a MASH#407 medic station (ya, I am way out there).

I decided on this rev, To call it quits for new additions and start on finishing it up. I know I prefer frequent updates over 1 big one at the end. (Then again this means more downloading) But this I think is a good improvement over the original Science. I learned on this map, That I do not want to have so many Halls on my next map. But, Orbital is pretty much a bunch of halls, and I like it. Next map I will attempt to bring together a series of rooms without halls, We shall see.

I still have Hint brushes, Spawn points, Bot Roams, And initial bot testing to do on my own.
I also have to pull out all the textures for the Pk3
I will try to finish this Revision up by the weekend.

Then in a few weeks I can begin version 3 after i see where 2 falls short.

Uggggg.

Had to revert 5 snapshots back today, Because of a damn bug in GTK Radiant i swear. Its crashed several times this week but ive managed through it. Anyway, That is why I save under a new name frequently, Im at newscience11.map right now, and then autosave has 27 snapshots under the name newscience11 not to mention hundreds of others. LoL

Well I was very close this weekend to release. Im still close, But im optimizing every texture the map uses to reduce the final PK3s size. Ran into some other texure issues that i have resolved. : )

Great job! Just got done playing on it. Amazing job quake :)
it's a lot less blocky, it's like a fluid map instead of a few boxes. Also, it looks a lot more realistic. Idk if it's the textures u used or if it's all the detail, but great map either way
