ok so this has really been bothering me. Whenever i open the texture box then close it, and try to move the camera, it does this:
(http://img103.imagevenue.com/loc797/th_26973_glitch_122_797lo.jpg) (http://img103.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=26973_glitch_122_797lo.jpg)
if i save and exit gtkradiant, it keeps whatever change i made to glitch it up such as adding a texture or editing an entity. I dealt with it for a while but its just too annoying to have to exit gtk whenever i add a texture. anyone know whats wrong?
-
Well i have had alot of errors but never one quite like this btw those look like transition boxxes maybe thats what is wrong but i doubt it
-
hm, if you saved your mistake then closed your map maybe messed up, unless you have a previous .map that you have b4 your mistake, looks like you have wrong things selected, b4 you add a texture press ESC, then press Q and then try adding the texture you want, after texture is added press ESC again to make sure nothing else is selected
-
so it isnt just a glitch saved in the map. ive gotten the same thing on every map ive started since then, eventually. it usually doesnt happen the first time i add a texture, but by the 3rd or fourth time it messes up. Does anyone know whats wrong? :-[

Reinstall, if you are having so many problems with it, why not just reinstall? Not that hard lol.

lol didnt think of that :D
how embarassing :-\

i reinstalled. it happened again. i figured it might have to do with the installer. i redownloaded the installer and reinstalled it. it happened again. :'(
idk what to do now :-\

Windows vista home basic
I could never get GTK Rad to work with Vista. I got so pissed, that I wiped the drive and installed Windows Xpu by Johnny, which is Xp with all the toys that come with Vista. GTK Rad worked fine then.

Hah Ron. :P
Anyways camper, have you done this?
Right Click>Personalize>Appearance Settings>Windows Vista Basic
Usually gtk barely runs without it...but I don't know, it might help...
Something is better than nothing.

Well I did that. Gtk still has that glitch though. It worked fine when I first installed it...
