1up is working on new funstuff for player models.
We are looking for people with experience in weapon and player model creation.

At least in Quake3 you could see the phone jack above someones head and wait courteously behind them.

The other idea of putting 1up on the helmets and stuff like that is amazing. The thing above the head is a bad idea for actual play but for jumping or anything else is fine. I get what ron is saying about how if we can do that than we can do other stuff.

Would there be any possible way for this to only show for people on your team that have it in use?

Thats a good point, I would bring that up to the dev team, but as of now I'm pretty sure it's not possible.

Just noticed this. This is ridiculously cool hehe.
Now... funstuff doesn't show up unless you have the file for it.. it doesn't auto download JUST because someone has it...
So in theory you could distribute a funstuff to your clan ONLY ... making them easier to spot in a scrim from far away. Not a big deal... but kind of interesting.
If you had tacs on you'd see that immediately... is that hax? hrm. I don't know. Interesting thought lol.

Avoid all scrims and matches with clans that all wear tac goggles. :D

Haha very nice I know you can make funstuff closer to the head maybe another version more discreet could look like a logo on the helmet maybe ? or close to the head if not wearing a helmet. :)

It'd be so cool if you could use funstuff on your weapon to use the skins of the original x2urt as it clearly just epicly owns. Also for noobs they could make a sight so it would be easier no offence. I know 4.2could introduce is but it'd still be some fun :) maybe skins with the original quake 3 arena monsters and stuff.

While I don't have experience with the q3 engine yet, I do have experience in maya and 3dsmax. I have pulled a couple tuts on naming conventions in the rig q3 uses. I will be out of town the next week, but I would love to participate.

As some of you may know I started a funstuff thingy pretty long ago. I haven't done anything to it for a while, so I think it's good to work on it again.
I'm still pretty new to it all, and I have to learn a lot. I'm creative, I love drawing, sculpturing and other creative stuff. Recently Ego[1up] told me about the sculpturing mode in Blender; I like it :D However, I hope I can make progress in it soon.
