Please post everything you think about Alphabase.

I am working on it when I get the time, and I can tell you that most ot the problems we've experienced so far have been fixed.

I'm looking forward to playing the final version with you guys.

I think the map is great except for a few things:

1. Missing light textures
2. Ladder things that look retarded. You should make them actual ladders. Not these stupid rectangular things.

I like the map and thing you are off to a great start.
As I said in Vent, I think you should add details (Boxes, Barrels, etc.).
Fix spawn issues.
I dislike how open the map is. There are too many places you can get shot from. Throw some objects in that can be used for cover.

Overall, I like it and I can't wait to see it on the Domination Server.  ;)

You know, you said it before. In the rooms with the windows. There's lights with missing textures.

Oh, I can't fix that. That's the server.

They arent missing on my laptop but they are missing on every other computer I have used. So my conclusion is the server. Otherwise they would be missing on my laptop.

You may have created a shader or model conflict in making your map. I would suggest you look into that.

Could you post some screen shots of the map and if possible the shader conflict? I'd like to help if I could. If its not with technical work, the least I can do is constructive criticisim/suggestions.

Heya, I finally am ready for my second official beta release. B4 is a HIGHLY updated version of b2. Tbh, most of it has been completely changed.

I know of one glitch throughout the map, random textures are black, it is a lighting problem that I can NOT fix, I put a light right up to a texture and still had the same effect. If you find any bugs or problems, please contact me.

It is NOT bot friendly, sorry Ron, but I'm making a bot friendly map my next priority.

Why don't you try to use the bumpy method to enhance your q3map2 compile? See attached.

I would have to make the maps with bumpy textures, I don't have the time or knowledge of how to do that.  I use radbump anyways.

Ok ron -.-. Nobody else had that problem lol, but I repacked with those textures I used, I did not rebuild or anything, so it may just be you. Im not worried if a few people yell at me because of a single missing texture.

Bio,

I thought there were going to pictures on the wall there or something, but a texture is a texture anyway. Too bad this did not have trigger on the floor to open the doors automatically and an .aas file, because it could have made a nice addition to our FFA server that way. I really like this map because it seems like a place to get it on. I hope to play some TS on it soon.

Progress. Map uploaded to auto-download server, 1up Domination, 1up Private, and 1up Public TS. Clean Screenshot from version ...b2 substituted for current map and submitted to Tesla[1up].

I have some complaints about the spawning on this map. The spawns are way to close. I know exactly where they are going to spawn and it takes me 2-3 seconds to reach their spawn. The rest of the map is unused basically because the spawns are so close on one side all you have to do is run up the hall or reverse for other spawn.

That's what I was wondering because you said a new release of it was out but I didn't notice a change at all. Usually when the map comes up on the cycle for Public TS people leave and at 60s in the map gets cycled.

That's awesome. I hate when people vote for certains maps over and over and we never play certain maps.
