Still working on it, so its not done :[
and it currently only supports windows :[
So basically you choose a common texture and it will show you the surface-perms for it and information.
example caulk: This one is also for raising the perfomance. All faces of a brush overlayed by this texture won't be drawn by the engine. So you should always lay this texture on faces you won't see anyway during play.
Then you choose editor image, texture path ect. And it will generate a .shader from the settings you choose.

What is the 2nd screen shot supposed to show ? For me it just shows your desktop.

how did you build this and is the source available :D
i might be able to remodel this nice piece of work with the help of kd, pyrite and tesla with all their knowledge i could possibly go about rewriting a mac GUI :P

Only common? It would be nice if You make all shader commands as a mark-able windows, (like in in q3map2tollz/q3map2build), with info (and graphic render? :) ) . It will be awesome for mappers that don't know how to make shaders.
